Jack Reynor (“Midsommar,” “Strange Angel”) has been cast in a leading role in the series adaptation of the William Gibson novel “The Peripheral” at Amazon Studios, Kilter Films and Warner Bros. Television.

“Westworld” creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy will executive produce the series alongside “Cube” filmmaker Vincenzo Natali (who will also direct), Scott B. Smith (who will also write), Athena Wickham, Steven Hoban, and Greg Plageman who will serve as showrunner.

The one-hour drama stars Chloe Grace Moretz as Flynne Fisher, a woman trying to hold together the pieces of her broken family in a forgotten corner of tomorrow’s America.

Smart, ambitious and doomed, she has no future – until the future comes calling for her. Reynor plays Burton, brother of Flynne and a US Marine Corp veteran who served in the Haptic Recon unit. Gary Carr co-stars as Wilf.
