Apple TV+ has announced that its workplace comedy “Mythic Quest” will be getting a special bonus season episode entitled “Everlight” premiering April 16th – several weeks ahead of the second season premiere on May 7th. Anthony Hopkins lends his voice to the episode.
This episose “addresses the practical and emotional difficulties of returning to normalcy” and finds the team behind the biggest multiplayer video game of all-time returning to the office for their annual Everlight party, with Poppy and Ian rigging a LARP tournament in an underdog’s favor. HBO Max has handed out a ten-episode series order for the half-hour comedy “Minx” set in 1970s Los Angeles. Ophelia Lovibond plays an earnest young feminist who joins forces with a low-rent publisher to create the first erotic magazine for women.
Idara Victor, Jessica Lowe, Lennon Parham, Michael Angarano, and Oscar Montoya co-star while Ellen Rapoport created the series and will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Paul Feig, Dan Magnante and Rachel Lee Goldenberg will executive produce. [Source: Variety]

3000 Pictures has optioned the rights to Elin Hilderbrand’s novel “Summer of ’69” with plans to adapt as a limited series. Set in Nantucket, this follows the lives of multiple generations of the Levin family as their lives intersect with the historical events of the time, including the Vietnam War and the space race.
