Liam Neeson, Guy Pearce, Monica Bellucci, Taj Atwal, Harold Torres and Ray Fearon are set to star in the action-thriller “Memory” which hails from “Casino Royale,” “Goldeneye,” “Vertical Limit” and “The Mask of Zorro” director Martin Campbell.
Neeson stars as Alex, an expert assassin with a reputation for discreet precision who refuses to complete a job for a dangerous criminal organization. He quickly becomes the group’s target, forcing him to hunt down those who want him dead whilst staying ahead of the FBI.
There’s a complication – he’s struggling with severe memory loss, which affects his every move. As details blur and his enemies close in, he must question his every action in addition to who he can really trust.
Pearce and Atwal play veteran FBI agents and Torres a Mexican intelligence liaison all on the hunt, while Bellucci plays a local tech mogul (Bellucci).
Dario Scardapane (“The Bridge”) wrote the script, which is based on the book “De Zaak Alzheimer” by Jef Geeraerts and Belgian director Erik Van Looy’s film “The Memory of a Killer”. Filming has already begun in Bulgaria.
