After the first third of 2021 where the COVID-19 production pause last year finally had an impact on the rollout of their content, Netflix is now getting back in gear and has teased its line-up for the late Spring and Summer film season.
New movies are set to premiere every week from May through August and today the company released a three-minute sizzle reel of some of the titles set to premiere.
Among the most high profile are Zack Snyder’s zombie heist film “Army of the Dead” (May 21st), the Kevin Hart-led dramedy “Fatherhood” (June 18th), the Amy Adams-led thriller “The Woman in the Window,” Lin-Manuel Miranda’s animated musical “Vivo,” Guillermo del Toro’s animated “Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans” feature, and the already acclaimed animated Lord-Miller produced comedy “The Mitchells vs. The Machines”.
There’s also the Jason Momoa-led “Sweet Girl,” the Jean Claude Van Damme-led “The Last Mercenary,” the Liam Neeson-led “The Ice Road,” the “She’s All That” gender-switched remake “He’s All That,” the John David Washington-led conspiracy thriller “Beckett,” a new Bob Ross doco, the animated revisionist U.S. history comedy “America: The Motion Picture” (June 30th), and the “Fear Street” trilogy of young adult horror.
