NVIDIA has announced that all newly manufactured RTX 3080, 3070, and 3060 Ti graphics cards will receive a reduced ETH hash rate – making the cards less desirable for those using them to mine Ethereum cryptocurrency.

The reduced hash rate will only apply to newly manufactured cards that include the lite hash rate label. These cards are slated to ship in late May and aims to get them in the hands of their core gaming audience. [Source: IGN]

Bad Robot
The recently launched video game division of J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot company has landed a reported $40 million in Series B fundraising and will use the new capital to build out its internal Games Studio, and further evolve towards its goal of building cross-medium stories and worlds.
