“Manifest” Over As Netflix Passes On It

After lengthy conversations and deliberations that stretched into this week, Netflix has decided NOT to order a fourth season of NBC’s cancelled mystery thriller series “Manifest”.

The streaming giant recently released the first two seasons of the missing plane drama on its service, the show shooting to #1 on it shortly after.

Netflix had been considered the most viable option for the show’s producer Warner Bros. Television to continue it, but with them passing the company has concluded any efforts for another home due to the complexity of digital rights and cast options having expired.

Series creator Jeff Rake confirmed this is the end in a tweet in which he also thanked the series’ loyal and passionate fans. This marks a premature ending for the show which finished its third season on a cliffhanger and only got halfway through a planned six-season run.
