A late 2021 South Australian shoot has been set for a third installment in the “Wolf Creek” horror franchise with Rachele Wiggins taking over from Greg McLean in the director’s chair.
The new film sees an American family on a dream trip to the outback and soon draws the attention of notorious serial killer Mick Taylor (John Jarratt). Soon the couple’s two children escape, only to be hunted by the infamous killer.
Duncan Samarasinghe penned the script while McLean, Bianca Martino and Kristian Moliere produce.
Speaking of Aussie threequels, comedian Nick Giannopoulos has confirmed that a third “Wog Boy” movie is currently filming in Melbourne.
The new entry will follow his character Steve twenty after the events of the first film and Giannopoulos decided to bring the project to life after his beloved father Leonidas passed away in January whilst he was in the middle of writing the script.
Vince Colosimo, Sarah Roberts, Havana Brown and comedians Sooshi Mango also star.
