Walt Disney Pictures have released duelling trailers and a bunch of character posters for their theme park ride turned film adaptation “Jungle Cruise” a month ahead of its July 30th release.

One trailer puts the focus on Dwayne Johnson’s skipper Frank Wolff, the other on Emily Blunt’s researcher Lily Houghton – both serve as the lead characters in the film which also stars Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons and Paul Giamatti.

The action-adventure feature, that plays like part “The African Queen” and part “The Mummy,” follows the pair on a trip down the Amazon on a ramshackle-but-charming boat to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled medicinal qualities. They encounter innumerable dangers and supernatural forces lurking in the lush rainforest.

Jaume Collet-Serra (“The Shallows,” “The Commuter”) directs “Jungle Cruise” which will be released simultaneously in U.S. theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on July 30th.
