TV News: Chapelwaite, Ray, Maisel, Fantasy

EPIX has announced a Sunday, August 22nd premiere date for “Chapelwaite,” the Adrien Brody-led event series adaptation of Stephen King’s short story “Jerusalem’s Lot”.

Set in the 1850s, the story follows a widower who settles his family in a sleepy Maine town and must confront the secrets of his family’s sordid history and fight to end the darkness that has plagued them for generations. [Source: EPIX]

Ray Donovan
Liev Schreiber has posted a photo from the set of the film continuation of Showtime’s cancelled fixer drama “Ray Donovan”. Set to air in 2022, the film will wrap up the show’s storylines and show off Ray and Mickey’s origin story from three decades prior.

Schreiber and co-stars Kerris Dorsey, Dash Mihok, Pooch Hall and Eddie Marsan can be seen in the shot together, the group all playing family members in the acclaimed crime drama that ran from 2013-2019. [Source: Instagram]

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
“Gilmore Girls” actress Kelly Bishop, who played family matriarch Emily Gilmore, will guest star in the fourth season of the critically-acclaimed Amazon series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”.

The show hails from her old collaborators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino. Production is currently underway on the new season in New York City with another ‘Gilmore’ alum, Milo Ventimiglia, also guest-starring in the new run. [Source: Variety]
