Oscar-winner actor Javier Bardem is set to star in the Will Speck & Josh Gordon-directed “Lyle, Lyle Crocodile” for Sony Pictures.
The story revolves around a crocodile who lives in a house on East 88th Street in New York City. He enjoys helping the Primm family with everyday chores and playing with the neighborhood kids.
It all changes when one neighbor insists that Lyle belongs in a zoo, and everything Lyle does to win the neighbor over seems to go wrong.
Will Davies will pen this adaptation of the best-selling 1965 children’s book by Bernard Waber. “La La Land” songwriters Benj Pasek & Justin Paul will write original songs for the film which is targeting a July 22nd 2022 release.
