Matt Reeves’ upcoming “The Batman” film is set to be quite different from many of the ones that came before in that the focus is primarily on Batman (Robert Pattinson) himself.
As a result, there are multiple villains who are effectively in supporting roles including the likes of The Riddler (Paul Dano), Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz) and The Penguin (Colin Farrell) who each make up a part of a tapestry as opposed to drawing all the focus.
Speaking with Josh Horowitz for the Happy Sad Confused podcast recently, Farrell revealed that the movie is currently deep in post-production and is being edited after a long 12-14 month production time (delayed several times due to COVID-19).
He also confirmed that his role as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, which sees him endure an incredible make-up job that renders him unrecognisable, will only have a limited amount of time on screen:
