Investment to establish new publishing subsidiary for “massive interactive live events”

Today, Genvid Holdings announced that it has closed its Series C funding round with $113 million.
The company said the investment will be used to create a new publishing subsidiary which will produce “massive interactive live events.”
The funding round was led by previous investors Valor Equity Partners and Atreides Management.
Existing investors Galaxy Interactive, Horizons Ventures, OCA Ventures, Makers Fund, Huya, NTT Docomo Ventures, and Samsung Ventures participated as well.
New investors participating in the round included Third Point Ventures, Cobalt Capital, LightShed Ventures, XN Capital, and Lux Capital.
