Momoa Sets HBO Max Rock Climbing Series

Aquaman himself Jason Momoa is set to produce and star in a rock climbing competition series titled “The Climb” for HBO Max.

Rock climber Chris Sharma also stars in the project dubbed a “visually arresting and life-changing adventure that represents the foundations of rock climbing and the exploration of the human spirit”.

Amateur climbers are put through a series of mental and physical challenges, utilizing the most intimidating ascents in the world.

The series is executive produced by Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, Matt Shanfield, Momoa, Brian Mendoza, James Mendoza, Sharma and Jonathan Retseck.

41-year-old Momoa is about to start filming the “Aquaman” sequel in the UK.
