The feud between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson on the “Fast and Furious” series seems to be over, though both have walked away with very different perspectives on how it ended.
During promotional rounds for “F9: The Fast Saga” the other month, Diesel claims his use of “tough love” was the primary reason that Johnson turned in good performances in the ‘Fast’ franchise.
Johnson didn’t respond at the time but now, out doing promotional rounds for Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” film, he was asked directly about Diesel’s comments by THR and offered a wonderful rebuttal:
“I laughed and I laughed hard. I think everyone had a laugh at that. And I’ll leave it at that. And that I’ve wished them well. I wish them well on ‘Fast 9.’ And I wish them the best of luck on ‘Fast 10’ and ‘Fast 11’ and the rest of the ‘Fast & Furious’ movies they do that will be without me.”
The response was during a joint interview with his “Jungle Cruise” co-star Emily Blunt who jokingly added: “Just thank God [Diesel] was there. Thank God. He carried you
