Netflix has announced it is in early development of a new live-action “Pokemon” TV series.

Joe Henderson, the current co-showrunner and executive producer of Netflix’s “Lucifer” series, is attached to write and executive produce. He also worked on Hulu’s “11.22.63” and USA’s “White Collar”.

That show airs its sixth and final season at the streamer in September. As the project is still in its early days, no plot details are available.

Netflix is the home of multiple existing animated “Pokemon” shows, including “Pokemon: Indigo League” and “Pokemon Journeys” among others.

They’ve also got several live-action adaptations of anime titles on the way with “Cowboy Bebop” and “One Piece” in the works.
