Following their recent partnering with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin for future projects, Netflix movie chief Scott Stuber has now set his sights on the biggest white whale of the cinematic sea – Christopher Nolan.
Even more so than Spielberg, Nolan is arguably the most steadfast supporter of the theatrical experience and his signing a deal with a streamer would be seen as a major coup.
Stuber tells Variety that the company has already had ongoing conversations with the filmmaker who has seemingly walked away from working with his home of many years at Warner Bros. Pictures following their announcement of the HBO Max day-and-date model in 2021:
