While getting a COVID-19 vaccine may not be legally mandated, an ever-growing list of major corporations are now making full vaccination a requirement of its employees.

The Walt Disney Company has now joined the likes of Netflix, Google, Facebook, Twitter, The Washington Post, Lyft and Uber who have all adopted some form of vaccine mandates.

Disney’s requirement applies to all salaried and non-union hourly employees, in the U.S., and the company is talking to unions representing those under collective bargaining agreements.

Employees who have not been vaccinated but are working on-site now have 60 days to complete their protocols. Those still working from home will need to provide verification of vaccination prior to their return.

THat’s not all though as Emmy Award nominees and their guests will need to be fully vaccinated by September 11th if they plan to attend the Creative Arts Emmy Awards or by September 19th to attend the broadcasted Emmy Awards ceremony.
