PlatinumGames has delayed Sol Cresta from its previously planned 2021 release window to 2022. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam.
Over at PlayStation Blog, PlatinumGames chief game designer Hideki Kamiya detailed the history behind creating a sequel to Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta in this day and age.
Additionally, over at PlatinumGames Official Blog, Sol Cresta director Takanori Sato detailed the inner workings of the shoot ’em up, focusing on its “dock-and-split” system and “Formations.”
