Posting on Friday night, actor Bob Odenkirk shared an update on his recovery process following the heart attack he suffered on the New Mexico set of the final season of “Better Call Saul” in late July.
The 58-year-old “Nobody” actor was rushed to the hospital and soon tens of thousands of fans and celebrities expressed their worries and hopes for his recovery. He then confirmed he’d had a “small heart attack” and that he’d “be back soon.” Odenkirk now says he’s “doing great” and adds via Twitter:
“I’ve had my very own ‘It’s a wonderful life’ week of people insisting I make the world slightly better. Wow! Thank you, I love everyone right now but let’s keep expectations reasonable!”
Odenkirk says he plans to be back in action as soon as he’s recovered. Right now though it’s not clear how this will impact production dates for the final ‘Saul’ episodes.
