It’s not unusual these days for life-long AAA developers to jump ship and start their own indie studio, but there aren’t so many like new Montreal-based Monster Closet that can see the jump as something closer to their AAA roots.
“We built games in the older days when we had smaller teams,” Monster Closet CEO Graeme Jennings tells GamesIndustry.biz. “I think a lot of us miss that feeling. We wanted to build a smaller team, build a smaller scale game where we knew everyone and we could build it from the ground up with the values that were important
