Funimation has set an August 24th premiere date for the remaster of cult classic space opera anime epic “Robotech” on the service. That release comes ahead of a Blu-ray boxset containing all 85 episodes of the series on September 28th. [Source: Funimation]

Never Have I Ever
Netflix has officially renewed Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher’s coming-of-age teen comedy series “Never Have I Ever” for a third season.

Inspired by Kaling’s own childhood, the series that follows the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) – an overachieving high school sophomore who has a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations. [Source: Twitter]

The Witcher
Netflix has announced a creative partnership with “The Witcher” showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich who has been signed under a multi-year deal to write and produce scripted series and other creative projects for the streamer.

Schmidt Hissrich will also continue in her duties on “The Witcher” where she executive produces that, the prequel series “The Witcher: Blood Origin” and animated film “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf”. [Source: Netflix]

DreamWorks Animation has released the official trailer for the fourth season of the animated series “TrollsTopia” which returns on Peacock and Hulu with six new episodes on September 2nd.
