Filming on various stunts for the seventh “Mission: Impossible” feature has taken place over much of the past two years with Tom Cruise getting into all sorts of crazy action.

From leaping off a cliff ramp on a motorbike and parachuting away, to a car action set piece in Rome, to a fight on the roof of a moving train – there’s been several elaborate stunts shot for the project that the eagle-eyed public has managed to capture some set video of.

It happened again this week as a black steam train was sent, “Back to the Future Part III” style, plunging off a cliff into a pool of water at Stoney Middleton in Derbyshire, England.

Cruise was on hand to witness the scene which reportedly took months of construction and was delayed due to the pandemic until it was finally shot. Check out the video of the stunt below.

Filming and production work has been taking place at the Warner Bros Studios in Hertfordshire, and on locations across the UK.

Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff and Esai Morales star in the film which will premiere May 27th 2022.
