Doom Patrol
The first photos have been released of “Doctor Who,” “The Flight Attendant” and “Sabrina” star Michelle Gomez’s new role as Madame Rouge in the upcoming third season of HBO Max’s DC Comics adaptation “Doom Patrol”.

In the season, Madame Rouge’s travel through time has given her amnesia – which makes her forget all about her special abilities and the direction of her moral compass. The new season premieres September 23rd. [Source: EW]

HBO has cancelled its Crystal Moselle-created teen comedy series “Betty,” a follow-up to her 2018 feature “Skate Kitchen” about an all-girl group of skateboarders in the male-dominated sport. The series had two seasons under its belt with the network issuing a statement saying they will not be moving forward with a third. [Source: Variety]

Filmmaker Spike Lee is reportedly re-editing the fourth and final episode of his “NYC Epicenters: 9/11-20211/2” docuseries on HBO – the original cut of the episode featured interviews with ‘9/11 truthers’. The four-part docuseries, which premiered on Sunday, features more than 200 interviews
