BAFTA Award-winner Tony Curran (“Ray Donovan”) has joined the cast of The CW’s “The Flash” in the supervillain role of Despero for the show’s eighth season which premieres November 16th.

The character is described as a powerful and intelligent alien possessing incredible telepathic powers who left his homeworld of Kalanor under mysterious circumstances. His deadly mission on Earth will decide the fate of humankind. [Source: Deadline]

Ten more actors have joined Tim Burton’s “The Addams Family” coming-of-age comedy reboot “Wednesday” on Netflix which stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams alongside Luis Guzman and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Gomez and Morticia.

Joining them are Thora Birch as her dorm mother, Riki Lindhome as her therapist, Jamie McShane as a sheriff with a vendetta against Gomez, and the likes of Hunter Doohan, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mostafa, Emma Myers, Naomi J. Ogawa, Joy Sunday and Percy Hynes White as classmates. [Source: Variety]
