Bleecker Street has premiered the trailer for “Dollhouse” actor-turned-filmmaker Fran Kranz’s directorial debut “Mass” which gets a limited release in theaters in Los Angeles and New York City on October 8th. A national rollout will then follow.

The story follows two sets of parents who agree to talk privately in an attempt to move forward after one couple’s son killed the other’s son in a school shooting.

Reed Birney, Ann Dowd, Jason Isaacs and Martha Plimpton co-star in the film which is shot almost entirely in one room and was a critical hit at Sundance earlier this year.

Joe Abrams, Nico Falls, Douglas Matejka and Marshall Rawlings executive produce.
