Unity has acquired collaboration tool for artists SyncSketch.

The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

SyncSketch is based in California and was founded in 2016. The company’s software targets artists, animators, and VFX professionals and is a real-time visual communication tool aiming at facilitating collaboration on assets. SyncSketch supports 2D, 3D and video.

Its clientbase includes Frontier and Activision Blizzard.
