Multiplayer game developer says it “is all about bringing innovative social experiences to life”

Game developer World Makers (formerly Automation Games) announced today it has raised $3 million in a seed investment.
The funding was provided by venture capital firm Makers Fund.
The company said that the investment will goes towards continuing the development of its horror multiplayer horror game, Deceit, which launched on Steam back in 2017 and is now heading to consoles in 2022.
The title has reached 13 million downloads since launch, World Makers said, and 17,000 peak concurrent users.
The studio also plans to start new game projects
